About Me
Nathaniel Worthen is a dedicated and people-oriented student at Louisiana State University, pursuing a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in business administration. As a Resident Assistant, he fosters a supportive environment for incoming freshmen, guiding them through their transition to college life while ensuring policy adherence and organizing community programs. With strong interpersonal skills, he excels in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Express, Nathaniel brings a detail-oriented and organized approach to every task. Passionate about leadership and creating positive environments, he is eager to apply his skills in roles such as manager, PR executive, and anything that can help the business.
My Story
I am from Lafayette, Louisiana born and raised. I grew up in a 4-person household where it was always us against the world in every aspect. I got to see what hard work was throughout my life watching my dad, work to put food on the table for my family. One of the most important things my family has taught me, is to chase your dreams and conquer them. I have done that with every aspect of my life, from competition to jobs. I am a first-generation college student and high school graduate. My original dream was to go to Law School but thought my strengths would better suit public relations. So now the dream I am chasing is to one day work PR for a corporation or sports organization. However as of right now the dream I am conquering is to be the first person to graduate in my family.
